As per the report of a leading daily, Russian model and actress Alexandra Djavi was found hanging in her rented apartment in Oxel in Siolim, North Goa. The Goa police found her body on Friday. Reportedly, the police suspect it to be a case of suicide, the investigators are waiting for an autopsy report. According to a daily, the Goa Police wrote to the Russian Embassy to appoint formal representatives to process medico-legal formalities. The daily's report stated that the post mortem will be conducted only after Alexandra's family representative gives consent.
Alexandra, a 24-year-old model and actress from Russia, worked in South filmmaker Raghava Lawrence's horror-comedy Kanchana 3 with Oviya, Vedhika and Nikki Tamboli. She lived in Chennai to pursue a career in acting. According to another leading daily, the police officials are suspecting no foul play in the case as they didn't find any suicide note in her apartment. Further details on the case are awaited.

Reportedly, Alexandra had filed a complaint against a photographer in Chennai in 2019 for allegedly blackmailing her and seeking sexual favours.
