South superstar Kamal Haasan and his entire family are under self-isolation in different cities and houses. His wife Sarika and elder daughter Shruti are currently residing in separate apartments in Mumbai while the actor-politician himself and younger daughter Akshara are in Chennai in different houses.
Recently, in an interaction with a portal, the actor, who has been asking everyone to stay at home to avoid coronavirus spread, revealed that he has been catching up on films as he is a movie buff. He said, "I watch all sorts of movies even when there is no restriction. I would somehow watch a movie or two, a day. Before I sleep, I watch at least one movie. Since I am staying home now, I will binge-watch, I will catch at least 3-4 movies." Giving everybody some recommendations, Kamal quipped, "My friends have been asking me to recommend films that changed my life. I've been recommending Kieslowski's and other international films."
Futher adding that he has been working out to keep himself fit so he does not become a couch potato, he pointed out, "A little bit of exercise is necessary. Fortunately, I have a huge terrace where I can walk in the sun. I don't step out of my apartment building. It's been six days since I have been to the gym and I use my elliptical trainer. Probably a few push-ups and sit-ups so that I don't become a total couch potato."
For the unversed, it was on last Tuesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a nationwide complete lockdown for 21 days.
