Storyline
Param Sundari is the story of Param (Sidharth Malhotra), a smart Delhi businessman who dreams of launching a soulmate-finding app. His father (Sanjay Kapoor), fed up with his lofty ideas, challenges him to use his own app to find love in a month. That’s when Sundari (Janhvi Kapoor), a grounded and fiery Malayali girl, enters the picture. What follows is a fresh take on whether love can be coded in technology or if true connections are beyond algorithms.
Acting
Sidharth Malhotra is charming as Param, balancing comedy and emotion very well. But it’s Janhvi Kapoor who owns the film with her screen presence. She brings Sundari alive with natural grace, strong screen presence, and an authenticity that never feels forced. Sanjay Kapoor is a complete delight with his comic timing, while Manjot Singh and little Inayat Verma bring in the laughs. Renji Panicker and Siddhartha Shankar add genuine warmth to Sundari’s world. Together, the cast makes the film engaging from start to finish.
Direction
Director Tushar Jalota gives Param Sundari a soul. The film feels vibrant, emotional, and very relatable. He captures the clash between modern digital love and old-school emotions with a lot of heart. The storytelling is smooth, never preachy, and filled with moments that stay with you for longer.
Dialogues
The dialogues are sharp, witty, and rooted in reality. Janhvi’s lines are especially refreshing as they break stereotypes and show her character’s strength. Sidharth’s fun references like his sweet SRK mention add a cute touch. But there are a few dialogues that could have been better.
Music
The music is one of the biggest highlights of the film. Sachin-Jigar deliver an outstanding album that lifts every emotion beautifully. Songs like Pardesiya and ‘Bheegi Saree’ are instant crowd-pleasers, while ‘Sunn Mere Yaar Ve’ and Chand Kagaz Ka touch the heart.
Overall
It's is a complete entertainer funny, romantic, emotional, and filled with music you’ll hum for days. If you enjoy Bollywood masala with a fresh twist and lots of heart, this one is a must-watch.
