Kapil Sharma Joins Akshay Kumar at the Laughter Challenge stage

Kapil Sharma who shot up to fame after winning the comedy reality television The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2007 returned to the show today! A fortnight back, the veteran comedian had to keep the show’s current judges, Akshay Kumar, Sajid Khan and Shreyas Talpade waiting and eventually cancelled the promotional shoot due to his ill-health.

However, Kapil is here to mend the bridges and today shot for the Great Indian Laughter Challenge special episode. Pictures have surfaced of the Comedy King and the Khiladi actor posing for a photo on the sets.

Kapil’s team has already cleared the air about his no-show at prospective episodes with Akshay. And since it’s with Laughter Challenge that Kapil made his presence on TV, the contestants were looking forward to him coming and sharing his experiences on the show. A source claimed, “It’s Kapil who requested to be a part of the show and said he will shoot for the episode today.

In the pictures, we can see Kapil having a blast on stage with Akshay by his side.

He is currently doing promotional rounds as well for his upcoming movie Firangi that was supposed to hit the screens on November 24, 2017. Rumour has it, due to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s controversial film Padmavati release being deferred; Kapil will push his film’s release to December 1, 2017.
