Kajol-Tanuja to Shaan, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, celebrities pay a visit to Bappi Lahiri's residence to offer condolences

Veteran singer and music composer Bappi Lahiri, born as Alokesh Lahiri, passed away at Mumbai's CritiCare Hospital on Tuesday night. He was 69 years old. Soon after the news of his demise broke, Bollywood celebrities and singers rushed to his residence to offer condolences to his bereaved family members. 

Kajol and her mother Tanuja paid a visit to Bappi Da's residence.

Alka Yagnik was among the first few to visit the Lahiris.

Shaan offered condolences to Bappi Da's family members.

Abhijeet Bhattacharya also met the bereaved family.

Padmini Kolhapure and her sister Shivangi Kapoor were spotted outside Bappi Da's residence. 

Lalit Pandit, Sharbani Mukherji, Sophie Choudry and Rakesh Roshan also visit the family. 

Bappi Da's funeral will take place tomorrow after his son Bappa arrives from the US.
