After a long wait, Ranveer Singh's 83 is all set to turn cinema halls into stadiums as the film retells the story of the Indian national cricket team's glorious win at the 1983 World Cup. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film also stars Deepika Padukone, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa and R. Badree.
On Wednesday, the makers of 83 hosted a premiere for the cricketing legends and Bollywood stars. Ranveer and Deepika, who play Kapil Dev and Romi Dev in the film, received support from their family members. Cheering for the actor-couple, the Bhavnanis and Padukones attended the premiere. Director Kabir was with his wife Mini Mathur and daughter.

Ranveer's mother Anju Bhavnani posed for the shutterbugs with a bat that read, "175". It seems the bat was signed by the cricketers present at the premiere.

Deepika was seen showering kisses on her younger sister Anisha Padukone. After impressing everyone in a blue gown, Deepika slipped into a comfortable tee and jeans post the premiere.
