Ranveer Singh returns to Mumbai with the former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev after completing training for '83 in Delhi

Ranveer Singh who was getting trained in Delhi for his upcoming cricket drama '83 with the former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev on whom the film is based, returned to Mumbai on Friday. Ranveer, for the preparations, stayed with Kapil at his Delhi residence to adapt and understand the ace cricketers mannerisms and cricketing style. As per reports, the shooting of '83 will begin on June 5 in Glasgow in the United Kingdom with the cast and crew in attendance.

'83 the film is based on India's cricketing achievement against the West Indies at the 1983 World Cup. The film is centrally based on Kapil's journey and his role in the World Cup's victory. Ranveer has stepped into the shoes of Kapil while Kabir Khan is directing the film that is produced by Madhu Mantena and Vishnu Induri. Sajid Nadiadwala will be co-producing the film.
