The film industry suffered a huge loss on February 21 when Rajshri Productions head-honcho Rajkumar Barjatya passed away at the age of 75. The enigmatic producer had suffered a cardiac arrest and was hospitalized in the city’s Sir H.N.Reliance Foundation Hospital. The producer had some of the most iconic Hindi films produced under his banner like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Apke Hain Koun, Vivaah, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and several others.
Today, at a prayer meeting organized for his departed soul several celebrities came to pay their tributes. Salman Khan, Rajshri’s favourite hero attended the prayer meet. Salman got his big break in Sooraj Barjatya directed film Maine Pyar Kiya and his onscreen character of Prem was a staple with Rajshri films. Check out the pictures below.
