Shweta Bachchan Nanda's father-in-law Rajan Nanda breathed his last on Sunday night at the age of 76. He passed away at a hospital in Gurgaon. While Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan rushed to attend the last rites, Shweta's father Amitabh Bachchan is on its way back to India from Bulgaria.
Apart from the Nanda family, a host of celebs gathered to pay their respects. Spotted at the venue were Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Ridhima Kapoor Sahni, Amar Singh amongst others. Take a look:
Abhishek proved to be a pillar of strength to the Nanda family in their difficult times.
Rajan Nanda was the chairman of Escorts Group and his son Nikhil is the managing director. He was married to Raj Kapoor's eldest daughter Ritu Nanda and is survived by his wife and daughter Natasha, apart from son Nikhil.
