Rihanna honoured with a statue with baby bump at Met Gala 2022, calls it a 'historic tribute'

Pregnant Barbadian singer-actress Rihanna has sent the Internet into a frenzy with her fashion choices. The ace fashionista, who keeps stunning with her preggers style files every now and then, has now made it Metropolitan Museum of Art on the heels of the Met gala.

Rihanna, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky, did not walk the red carpet at the Met Gala on Monday. However, the singer made an impact as a marble statue was seemingly unveiled at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. With a floral pattern from chest to toe and the baby bump being the highlight, the massive statue was quite close to the singer's appearance. The singer took to Twitter and thanked the museum and Vogue magazine for paying her a historic tribute. She posted a glimpse of her statue in which she is seen flaunting her baby bump. “Shut down the met in marble! what’s more gilded than that? Lol! Thank you for this historic tribute! y’all bad for this one,” she wrote.

The statue is straight off the cover photoshoot she did for Vogue magazine. The Metropolitan Museum of Art, however, has not posted anything regarding the statue tribute yet.
