Don’t Worry Darling trailer: Harry Styles and Florence Pugh wreak havoc in their domestic bliss in Olivia Wilde’s psychological thriller

The trailer of Olivia Wilde’s directorial psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling finally dropped online after being released during CinemaCon a few days earlier. Warner Bros. dropped the film’s trailer online that stars Harry Styles and Florence Pugh in the lead role. Besides the thrilling and mysterious plotline, the film also gives a sneak peek into the visual treat from the desert utopia as well as some steamy chemistry between the leads.

The film is set in the 1950s and shows Pugh in the role of Alice while Styles portrays Jack. The trailer shows Pugh and Styles having a house party with their friends as they share a glimpse of their perfect and happy relationship. However, soon the image shifts to show the men of the town leaving to work for a top-secret Victory project. Things take a turn when Pugh starts questioning the cause and tries to expose the reality popping her paradise bubble and wreaking havoc.

The film also stars Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, Nick Kroll, Sydney Chandler, Kate Berlant, Asif Ali, Douglas Smith, Timothy Simons and Ari’el Stachel. Wilde directs from a screenplay penned by Katie Silberman, based on a story by Carey Van Dyke & Shane Van Dyke (Chernobyl Diaries) and Silberman. The film is produced by Wilde, Silberman, Miri Yoon and Roy Lee, with Richard Brener, Celia Khong, Alex G. Scott, Catherine Hardwicke, Carey Van Dyke and Shane Van Dyke executive producing.

The film is slated to release on September 23.
