Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk and musician Grimes have welcomed their second child, a girl together. They have named the little girl Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, but most probably call her Y. The revelation about their second child was made by Grimes accidentally during an interview. Apparently, the magazine reported heard what sounded like a baby crying upstairs during the interview at Grimes’ home in Texas and after Grimes first winced and tried to avoid, she finally confirmed that, yes she and Musk are parents again and welcomed a baby girl secretly via a surrogate.
Grimes revealed that due to fears that she would have complications which she endured during her first pregnancy, the couple decided to use a surrogate. Their first child, a boy was born in May 2020, whose birth lit up the internet because of the choice of his name by his parents. He was named X Æ A-12, or more simply, X. It further elicited a flurry of memes and so has the name of Exa Dark Sideræl Musk or Y. Check them out below:

Musk, who is the head of Tesla and SpaceX and currently the richest person in the world is “semi-separated” from Grimes, which he announced last fall. Talking about their situation, Grimes said, “I would probably refer to him as my boyfriend, but we're very fluid. We see each other all the time... We just have our own thing going on, and I don't expect other people to understand it." She said that she and Musk live in separate houses but remain “best friends” and also revealed that they plan to have more children. She said, “We've always wanted at least three or four.”
She explained the meaning behind the name Exa Dark Sideræl and said that it includes references to space and technology. she said Exa refers to supercomputing; Sideræl, a more "elven" spelling of sidereal -- this word means involving distant stars - and Dark, for "the unknown." She said, “Dark matter is the beautiful mystery of our universe,” but agreed that her daughter might want to change her name in the future. Grimes’ real name is Claire Boucher.
