Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas surprised their fans by announcing the arrival of their first child. Though the star couple kept the news a secret, the actress often expressed her desire to have children in multiple interviews in the past few years. In 2021, just before welcoming their daughter, Nick and Priyanka moved into their plush new abode in Los Angeles. As per reports, the couple purchased the property keeping children in mind.
According to an international publication's report, Priyanka and Nick's mansion is worth $20 million and is said to be the most expensive home ever sold in Encino, a suburban neighbourhood in the San Fernando Valley. A source close to the couple told the publication, "When they bought the house together, they had children in mind. They were hoping to have kids and needed a place with a lot of outdoor space and greenery."
The source further added that Priyanka and Nick 'spent months renovating the house' after moving in. "They wanted to make it more family-friendly," the source shared.
Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in December 2018 in India. Announcing the arrival of the first child, the couple issued a statement. It read, "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much."
