Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is busy promoting her upcoming film The Matrix Resurrections opposite Keanu Reeves appeared on Seth Meyers' talk show on Friday. She asked Meyers the same question that she was asked 21 years ago back in India during the Miss India contest.
Appearing on Late Night With Seth Meyers, the official handle of the show shared a clip of the actress from the episode. In the video, Priyanka asked Seth, “I am going to ask you my question, the one I was asked during the Miss India contest. Let's see what your answer is.” She continued, “My question was very Matrix actually, blue pill or red pill, but it was ‘If ignorance is bliss then why seek knowledge?’"

Seth taking the smart way stalled the question and said, “Well, that's a wonderful question.” Priyanka interrupted and said, “Great way of buying time.” Seth then continues, “And I don't want you to think that I am buying time from this answer because I value your time. And I appreciate that this is a timed answer and at some point, a bell will ring and I won't have to get where I was going. Because I can be bailed out, Right Priyanka?” Priyanka then replies, “No, no no.”
Seth then begs his pardon and tells Priyanka, “Priyanka I can't.” The actress reminds him and said, “Millions are watching.” Seth then says, “On behalf of all of you, I think you, too, have forgotten the question.” Priyanka then laughs and interjects him, “Concentric circles. And the Miss America is Seth Meyers.” The crowd then starts cheering as Seth exclaims and says like all the beauty pageant winners,“Oh my god. Thank you.”
The Matrix Resurrections is all set to release in theatres on December 22 and on HBO Max. The film sees Keanu reprise his role of Neo, 18 years after he played the role in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions that released in 2003. The film will see Priyanka play the role of Sati.
