Michael Keaton confirms reprising his role of Vulture for a mystery project

Michael Keaton has got the internet buzzing with his latest revelation. He is all set to reprise his role of Adrian Toomes/The Vulture in a mystery project. The prolific actor is currently busy with a string of projects, including films with both DC and Marvel. He confirmed starring as Vulture on Jimmy Kimmel Live without naming the specific project and revealed that he is currently shooting something with the character.

Keaton will be reprising his role as Batman in Andy Muschietti’s The Flash film while he will also star as the villain, Vulture in Morbius. The character debuted in Spider-Man: Homecoming, in which he played the main antagonist. He also had the best twists in MCU when it was revealed in the film that he was MJ’s father. As the black market dealer, Adrian Toomes ak Vulture, his life was spared by Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the film and was taken in by the authorities.

Keaton’s character had appeared in the trailers for Morbius, leading fans to speculate on how and when the film will be set in MCU. Talking about the complex mythology of the MCU and the production’s failed attempts at bringing him up to speed, Keaton told Kimmel, “I'm shooting tomorrow; I'm shooting Vulture stuff.”

Keaton’s reveal has sent the fans in frenzy who just can’t wait to  get more details about the unnamed project. It could be some reshoot for Morbius or he may just pop into the diverse multiverse of Spider-Man: No Way Home which is touted to have six villains. While the latest trailer has confirmed five of them with Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, Jamie Foxx’s Electro, Lizard and Sandman, the sixth could be Keaton’s Vulture.
