Adele teases her brand new song ‘Easy On Me’ with a clip, confirms single’s release date from speculative fourth album ‘30’

Adele is officially back. The singer broke her nine-month long hiatus from social media yesterday when she traded Twitter’s “Hello literally everyone,” tweet with “Hiya babes!” during the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp outage. The post was her first interaction on the site since 10 January. Now she has gone a step ahead and lit up internet by sharing a clip of what looks to be her first single Easy On Me from her next album speculatively titled 30.

The singer dropped the teaser with the caption that reads, “Easy on Me – October 15.” In the accompanying black-and-white video, Adele pops a cassette while driving a car and a piano ballad plays in the background. The car cruises down the road while several sheets of papers with music notes written on them flies behind in her wake from the car’s window.

The singer had started teasing what looks to be her new and fourth album last Friday with a series of billboards around the world projecting the number ‘30’. It looked to be her next album following her tradition of naming her albums on her age, her previous releases include 25, 21 and 19; the singer separated from her husband at 30. The billboards popped up in famous places like outside the Louvre in Paris, on the Colosseum in Rome, and near the top of the Empire State Building in New York.

Adele’s latest tweet has already taken Twitter by storm with fans going gaga over the music clip which will be released on October 15.
