A Journal for Jordan trailer: Michael B. Jordan and Chante Adams bring once-in-a-lifetime love in the romantic drama directed by Denzel Washington

“Love is a choice, Jordan. And real love means you have to sacrifice,” says Michael B. Jordan in the first teaser trailer for A Journal for Jordan. The film is directed by Denzel Washington and stars newcome Chanté Adams in the lead opposite Jordan. The romantic drama revolves around a soldier’s life and his journal of love and advice for his infant son.

A Journal for Jordan is based on a true story and follows Sgt. Charles Monroe King (Michael B.Jordan), a soldier deployed to Iraq. He keeps a journal for his infant son infused with life lessons and advice on love and relationships. Back at home, senior New York Times editor Dana Canedy (Chanté Adams) revisits the story of her unlikely, life-altering relationship with King and his enduring devotion to her and their child. A sweeping account of a once-in-a-lifetime love, the film is a powerful reminder of the importance of family and the all-too-human cost of war. The film also stars Jalon Christian.

Molly Allen, David Bloomfield, Aaron L. Gilbert, Jason Cloth and Richard McConnell are the executive producers.
