Columbia Pictures’ Escape Room: Tournament of Champions dropped its first trailer recently, paving the way for the thriller sequel’s theatrical release scheduled for July 16. Summing up the film which seems a train ride from hell, one of the terrorized characters in the trailer says, “This is way bigger than last time.”
The psychological thriller follows six people who find themselves locked in another series of escape rooms, uncovering the one thing that ties them is the fact that they have all played the game before and emerged victorious, in other words- tournament of champions.
