Tom Holland has teamed up with Anthony and Joe Russo for the upcoming film titled Cherry. Distributed by Apple TV Plus, the film will release soon for the audience to enjoy. Now, after much wait, the trailer of Cherry has been released on social media.
Cherry revolves around a student who drops out of college to serve as an Army medic in Iraq. He is anchored by his true love Emily. After returning home as a war hero, he battles undiagnosed PTSD, spirals into drug addiction and then robs a bank when his finances drain out. This leads to his relationship with Emily hit the rock bottom.
Cherry is based on Nico Walker's partially autobiographical novel of the same name, which he wrote while in prison. It was published in 2018. Cherry will release in theatres on February 6, 2021 and on March 12 on the Apple TV app.
