Legendary WWE star and actor John Cena is now a married man again. He recently tied the knot with his girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh. The WWE star married Shay in a secret ceremony on October 12 in Tampa, Florida. According to local news reports the ceremony was strictly private and the couple have not yet confirmed the nuptials.
John and Shay have been in a relationship since early 2019 and reportedly got engaged this year. The wedding was attended by family, friends and WWE talent according to media reports. Born in Iran, Shariatzadeh has been a Canadian citizen. According to reports, the 31-year-old holds an Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree from University of British Columbia in 2013. She works as a product manager for a tech company in Vancouver.
John and Shay were first romantically linked in early 2019 when the two were spotted spending time on the sets of John’s film Playing With Fire in Vancouver. The two made their red carpet appearance that that year at the film’s premiere in October.
John and Nikki Bella announced their breakup in 2018. Later, Bella got engaged to dancer Artem Chigvintsev. The duo welcomed their first child in July 2020. John was earlier married to Elizabeth Huberdeau from 2009 t0 2012 before parting ways.
