Promising Young Woman, a rape and revenge drama starring Carey Mulligan in the lead has just dropped another interesting trailer. Carey is out for revenge but not the regular kind, the delicious kind. She is not satiated with taking vengeance from her wrongdoers but has a whole list of what she wants to accomplish.
Cary plays a talented med-school student called Cassie who’s driven out of her program after a bad incident derailed her future. She is wickedly smart, tantalizingly cunning, and living a secret double life by night. An unexpected encounter is about to give Cassie a chance to right the wrongs of the past in this thrilling and wildly entertaining story.

The film is written and directed by Emerald Fennell who worked as showrunner on Killing Eve’s season-two and played young Camilla Parker-Bowles in The Crown.
