The longest-running television show The Ellen DeGeneres Show is amid a controversy. Reports of the toxic work environment and other workplace problems were brought to public attention. After an internal investigation was initiated by the production house Telepictures and distributors Warner Bros. Television, host Ellen DeGeneres issued a statement apologising for the unfair behaviour on sets. Now, in the latest development, reports suggested that the show will be taken off air due to the allegations. Responding to the same, Executive Producer Andy Lassner shared on Twitter that the show ain't going off air.
In response to a Twitter user's statement that "If the Ellen show goes off the air due to all these allegations... I hope you are able to find employment quickly", Andy said, "Nobody is going off the air"
I seriously wish you well. If the Ellen show goes off the air due to all these allegations (I, personally, have stopped watching) I hope you are able to find employment quickly. Your twitter account always made me laugh. But we do disagree on one thing: #GoHabsGo

On the other hand, it is reported that British talk show host James Corden is the top contender to replace Ellen as the host of her iconic show. According to an international publication, James was 'the long term successor' much before allegations hit Ellen. Not just this, NBC Entertainment Chairman Paul Telegdy is said to be a 'huge fan of James' and has him 'high on his wanted list for talent and a long term replacement for Ellen'.
