He went to do a handshake and I went for the hug: Chris Hemsworth reveals how he was starstruck when he met Brad Pitt

Chris Hemsworth, who was last seen in Netflix film Extraction, recently recalled the awkward interaction he had with Oscar-winning star Brad Pitt. The said incident took place at the LA premiere of Brad's film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

Speaking to a Hollywood portal, Chris admitted his starstruck moment and said, "I met Brad Pitt actually at the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood premiere. He went to do a handshake and I went for the hug, he was fine with it. I didn't get attacked by the security team or anything. It was fantastic. He was as wonderful and pleasant as I'd hoped and imagined."

Meanwhile, Chris recently opened up about the upcoming instalment of Thor franchise, which reunites him with Tessa Thompson and Natalie Portman. Actor Christian Bale will be joining the star-cast for this part. "It's one of the best scripts I've read in years. It's Taika at his most extreme, and at his best. If the version I read is the one we get running with, it's going to be pretty insane," he said.

The actor, who is father to India, and twins Tristan and Sasha, is currently enjoying the extended time with his family during the lockdown.
