Hollywood Roundup: Justin Bieber tried scaring David Beckham, Demi Lovato bares it all about 'overdosing' incident & Enrique Iglesias-Ricky Martin to team up for concert!

Singer Justin Bieber recently tried to scare retired football superstar David Beckham but the prank failed miserably. Beckham was chatting with host Ellen DeGeneres on her show about buying a football club. The 44-year-old was made the target of a prank, but it backfired, reports mirror.co.uk.

The former footballer was talking about how his sons Brooklyn, 21, Romeo, 17, and Cruz, 15, were such huge fans of Justin that they wanted David and Victoria to name their next child after him. When Victoria was pregnant with Harper, now 8, the boys asked if they'd choose the name Justin for a boy or Justine for a girl. Just as Ellen was asking why they hadn't gone with the name, Justin popped out of a box positioned between the two chairs and screamed in David's face. David remained cool and jumped up to give the singer a hug. Justin told him, "Sorry, they made me do it. I've gotta go," before running off the stage.

Later on Ellen DeGeneres' chat show, singer Demi Lovato recently recounted her hard time when she was rushed to hospital after overdosing in 2018. Lovato spoke about her struggles and how she felt abandoned by her people several times. "My core issues are abandonment as a child from my birth father. He was an addict, alcoholic. We had to leave him and I had vivid memories of him leaving. It played on that fear and I felt abandoned so I drank. That night I went to a party, there was other stuff there and it was only three months before I ended up in the hospital with an overdose," she shared.

Lovato also shared how she dealt with eating disorder. "I got the help I needed at the time and I took a 'one size fits all' approach and that was just sobriety. So my whole team took that approach and we did it and it worked for a long time but I realized over time, as things with the eating disorder were getting bad, over the years it got worse and worse. My bulimia got really really bad. I asked for help but didn't get the help that I needed," she said. Lovato recalled how she reached out to her team and was left stunned when they branded her "selfish", triggering her issues of "abandonment". "I sent a message out and reached out to my team and they responded with 'You're being very selfish, this would ruin things not just for you but for us as well. Ultimately, I made the decisions that got me where I am today. As long as you take responsibility, you can move past it and learn to love yourself the way that you deserve to be loved," she concluded.

And the best news for fans was Latin pop superstars Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin teaming up for an arena tour for the first time. Martin and Iglesias will make about 20 stops across the US and Canada with their North American arena tour. It's the first time they have hit the road together. The tour will kick off in Phoenix on September 5, and go on till the end of October.
