On January 8, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle made an announcement that they were stepping back as royals in order to become financially independent, but would continue to serve the Queen. Their exit's news was huge and ever since it was announced it has been a hot topic of discussion, especially on social media. Not just that, several memes and jokes on #Megxit have surfaced online and are going viral.

A video on social media that shows Queen Elizabeth with the voice-over of a Punjabi dadi, making it seem like she is trolling the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has gone viral. Netizens are going crazy about how relatable it is and some even mentioned how it is the perfect plot for saas-bahu serials.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry had earlier mentioned, "The decision that I have made for my wife and I to step back is not one I made lightly. It was so many months of talks after so many years of challenges and I know I haven''t always got it right, but as far as this goes there really was no other option."
