Bad Boys For Life trailer: Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back in action for one last time

Sixteen years later Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back together in the long-awaited third installments of their action-packed franchise. They star in Bad Boys for Life, whose trailer just dropped. The camaraderie, banter and the relationship have not changed in all these years as evidenced by the trailer of the film.

Playboy Mike Lowrey (Smith) and family man Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) come together to work “one last time” as they take down the vicious leader of a Miami drug cartel. There is a new team of young cops too who make up the elite team AMMO of the Miami police department along with Mike and Marcus. The young cops include Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig and Charles Melton.

While Michael Bay directed the first two Bad Boys films, this time around Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are holding the reins of the film with a script from Chris Bremner, Joe Carnahan, David Guggenheim, and Anthony Tambakis.

Bad Boys for Life had a long and bumpy road to the big screen as it lost multiple release dates and directors as well. Apparently, getting Martin Lawrence on board the film also took some time. Bad Boys for Life hits theaters on January 17, 2020.
