Watch: The Hunt trailer offers a spine chilling and gruesome experience as humans are hunted for 'sports'

The trailer of Blumhouse's The Hunt featuring Betty Gilpin, Hilary Swank, Emma Roberts, Justin Hartley, Glenn Howerton, Amy Madigan, Ike Barinholtz and Ethan Suplee was made available on social media platforms. Better known for horror and thrilling films like Paranormal Activity, The Purge, Get Out, Insidious amongst several others, Blumhouse is back to the screens with yet another highly realistic, gruesome and spine chilling film through The Hunt and the trailer is a testament of a thrilling ride awaiting us in theatres.

The two and a half minute trailer gives away most of the story of the film, which kind of takes away the surprise element that needs to be preserved within the theatre premise, but none the less. The story of The Hunt revolves around a group of people brought together to be hunted by some elite citizens as a means of 'sport'. The victims of this sport are Emma, Justin, Ike and Ethan, who brave the evildoers under Betty‘s character's leadership. Soon, this group decides to take upon the abductors by using their weapons against them and hunt them instead. The trailer traces their struggle to freedom and how they manage to battle them out together. Watch it here:
