Last of the last, we're here now. the Game of Thrones season 8 finale has everyone on the edge of the seat.
Bringing and override of emotions with it, here we are, thoroughly vulnerable as we drown in the sheer joy of witnessing and concluding such a brilliant journey with this fine cinematic masterpiece. Can't wait for the last ever breakdown? Buckle up!

The scene opens with Ser Davos, Jon and Tyrion walking through the destruction, taking in all that has been now reduced to ashes. Tyrion tells Jon he'll find him later, as he sets out to find his siblings. Jon sees Greyworm killing the survivor red cloaks and commands him against it. Greyworm says he's only following his Queen's orders and continues doing so. Jon then leaves to find Dany.
On the flipside, Tyrion finds Cersei's and Jaime's dead bodies, enveloped in each other's arms, under the pile of rocks. Heartbroken by the sight, Tyrion grieves for his loss.
Arya lurks behind the Army lines of the unsullied and the dothrakis, as they celebrate their victory. Jon walks up the steps on the castle when he sees Danaerys arriving on Drogon.
She walks out, greets her people and thanks them for their support in her journey. but she stresses on how the real war is to break the wheel and that they should stop at nothing before they achieve that. Tyrion seeks her when she states that he committed treason by freeing Jaime, who was her prisoner. Tyrion states that he just freed his brother while she killed the numerous innocents by burning down a city, as he removes his badge of Hand of Queen and throws it away. Hurt and insulted by this, Danaerys commands her men to take him prisoner.
Arya meets Jon before he goes to meet Danaerys and warns him about his Queen's killer tendencies and how he'll always be a threat to her no matter how loyal he is.
Before seeking Dany, Jon meets Tyrion in his prison cell. Tyrion tells about how Varys was right all along and that Jon will have to choose the fate of the future. Jon defends Dany's actions while Tyrion uses logic and the grave truth fend the argument.Before Jon leaves, Tyrion asks him to choose before it's too late.
Jon goes to see Dany but meets Drogon before he goes in. He finds Dany in the Throne Room, in a daze at the sight of the throne. Dany tells him about how she's always been appalled at the thought of the throne. Cutting the chase, jon demands justifications for her actions and that, she should forgive Tyrion. Dany reasons that she has to do some bad things for the greater, better future, even if it's cruel in the moment. She tells him that they can break the wheel together. Jon tells her that she will always be his Queen, before he goes in for a kiss and stabs her, killing her instantly.
Drogon senses this and arrives at the throne room. He tries to move his mother's lifeless body but fails. In agony,he burns the throne and flees off, taking Dany with him, into the far distance.
Greyworm takes Tyrion, a captive, to the Dragonpit, a captive, to the Dragonpit, where all the Lords and Ladies of the survivor houses sit in anticipation. Sansa demands that Jon, who is also a captive, be presented before the council too; Greyworm resists, saying they need justice.
Together they try to choose their new King or Queen when Sam suggests they mutually pick their new ruler. Tyrion suggests Bran's name and everyone votes in favor; except Sansa who announces that Winterfell will remain a free and independent kingdom.
In consequence, 'Bran, the broken' is named the new king of the 6 Kingdoms. Bran names Tyrion the Hand of King as punishment for his actions and send Jonback to the Wall, as an exile for his doings.
Jon leaves, bidding his family goodbye. Sansa asks for forgiveness while Arya tells him she'll head to the west of Westeros, where no-one has ever been. Jon bends the knee before Bran and apologizes for not being there when he needed him; to this, Bran assures him he was right where he was supposed to be.
At the new small council meeting, Bronn, Lord of Highgarden and the master of coins, Ser Davos, Master of Ships, Samwell Tarly, new archmaestor, Ser Brienne, Lord Commander of King's Guard and Bran the broken, king of the sox kingdoms and protector of the realm, talk about how they'll handle shop starting now.
In a series of shots, Jon, Sansa and Arya are seen getting ready for their respective journeys. Sansa gets ready to be named Queen in the North and Arya gets onto a ship for her new journey, while Jon sets beyond the wall yet again, with Tormund, Ghost and the wildlings.

We can't believe we've come to this. A journey of more than ten years, and what a beautiful journey it has been . And now, our watch has ended.
