Hugs and tears went all around the cast, crew and audience of The Big Bang Theory including Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Mayim Bialik, Jim Parsons, Kunal Nayyar and more during the final taping of the popular American sitcom.

The show’s last episode, a two-part finale will be aired on May 16. The show has also broken a record with the finale being the 279th episode to be filmed.

"This show has touched so many hearts," an emotional Kaley told the fans who were in attendance of the filming. She shared a comment made by series creator Chuck Lorre at a reading of the final script, "The Big Bang Theory will live on in our hearts forever." Johnny, who played husband Leonard Hofstadter to Cuoco's Penny, thanked the audience and called the top-rated comedy's 12-season run "a dream come true for all of us."

Jim, who starred as the awkward genius Sheldon Cooper, had a key fan in attendance, his mother Judy Parsons. The actor, a four-time Emmy winner for the role, looked relaxed and even broke into a few dance moves between shots.
