The film will show Luke Hobbs played by Dwayne unite with Deckard Shaw played by Jason as the perfect action duo with a huge splash of banter. The trailer opened with a comic scene of the two fighting in a chambered facility while trying to impress the other. The film’s main plot is focused on Shaw’s sister Hattie played by Vanessa Kirby who has stolen a virus which can wipe out half the world. Described as “Black Superman”, Idris’ character seemed more badass with every scene.

The trailer included an intense scene of Dwayne's character performing a war-ritual performance of a Haka along with his Samoan family members before fighting the genetically modified Brixton. Film-buffs also spotted a cameo by the veteran actress Dame Helen Mirren who is playing the role of Shaw’s mother. Directed by David Leitch, who has also made Deadpool 2 and Atomic Blonde, the film is set to release on August 2 in India.
