Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, who tied the knot with Prince Harry in 2018, is all set to welcome her first child in April. The mother-to-be has not only been giving us major fashion goals with her maternity wear but is leaving no stone unturned to break som rigid and unnecessary royal protocols.
Now with just two months left for her firstborn to arrive, the Duchess of Sussex has decided to take a well-earned break in New York City. As per a report in a leading magazine, Meghan has landed in the Big Apple for a five-day trip filled with rest, shopping, good food with 15 of her closest pals.

Add to this, she will also be hosting a baby shower for her friends at an undisclosed Upper East Side hotel and its responsibility has been given to her close friend and unofficial stylist, Jessica Mulroney. "This will be the last time a lot of them will see Meg until after the baby is born so it’s nice to share precious moments," the magazine quoted a source as saying.
However, with news of the baby shower, we wonder if Meghan's BFF and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra will be attending it or not. Not to forget, Priyanka even attended Meghan and Prince Harry's royal wedding last year and several recent reports suggested that the Duchess of Sussex may consider Priyanka as the godmother of her first born.
