Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are expecting their first baby in the spring of 2019, as confirmed by Kensington Palace on Monday. The news came hours after the couple landed in Sydney as they kicked off their first international tour together, lasting more than a fortnight with stops in Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.
"The Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the spring of 2019," the palace said in an official statement. Further appreciating the support the couple has received from everyone since their wedding, the statement mentioned that the Royal Highnesses were delighted to share the happy news with the public.
