Captain Marvel Trailer: Brie Larson’s first female-led superhero film looks spectacular

Marvel Studios first gave a hint of Captain Marvel’s debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the post-credits scene of Avengers: Infinity War and since then we’ve been waiting for the newest superhero to join forces. However, now with the release of the first official trailer of the much-awaited film Captain Marvel the excitement has increased manifold. The trailer of the first female-led superhero film is spectacular and has definitely piqued our interest.

The new trailer showcases Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel but other than her we also get to see a young Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury and the MCU debut of the Skrulls. The trailer is full of 90s references and MCU cameos.

Captain Marvel follows the journey of Carol Danvers (Larson) as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. The trailer showcases a galactic war between two alien races that reaches Earth and Larson as Captain Marvel finds herself and a small group of allies at the centre of the conflict.

The film also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Rune Temte, Algenis Perez Soto, Mckenna Grace, Annette Bening, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law. Captain Marvel is produced by Kevin Feige and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. The film is slated for a March 8, 2019, release.
