Freddie Mercury fans can take a breather, trailer to Bohemian Rhapsody drops

As the frontman of the epic rock band, Queen, Freddie Mercury has brought some of the greatest and most iconic songs into our lives – and we can only thank him for that. He's taught us how to, rock you. He’s taught us to break free. He’s taught us that we’re the champions, and he’s taught us that the show must always go on. Perhaps that’s why Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody biopic trailer which finally graced the Internet today is one of the most incredible things we have ever seen.

In the trailer, one can see the band's development and their uncanny use of sound and style. The trailer showcases the spiraling lifestyle of Mercury and the band’s Live Aid reunion in 1985 which culminated into one of the greatest performances in the music history. Rami Malek seems to be operating on a whole other plane here, as he perfectly portrays the larger-than-life presence when on stage as Mercury and also manages to filter through his performance during the moments when he isn’t on stage.

The movie will follow the glory days of Queen, as they create their iconic sound, perform for thousands across the globe, and create their lasting legacy on the world of music. While the movie will largely follow Freddie Mercury himself, there will be little snippets of the other band members as they deal with their lead singer’s determination, creative mind, and his incredible humour.

The film will also follow Freddie’s split from the band in search of a solo career, as well as his return to his bandmates to perform for Live Aid. Yet, we’ll also get to see how his illness started to not only affect his personal life, but also his professional life.

Alongside Malek, Queen members will be played by Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, and Joseph Mazzello. The film will hit the screens on November 2nd, so you’ve still got time to learn all of the words to their songs!
