Mamma Mia final trailer: The mystery around Meryl Streep continues

The first Mamma Mia 2 trailer led us to believe that Meryl Streep will die somewhere during the film. The final trailer has dropped and even though it is a lot perkier, the death part remains a mystery. Fans have their fingers crossed as they wonder how much of the fabulous Streep will be seen in this live-action musical sequel, Mama Mia! Here We Go Again.

In the jam-packed musical sequel, we are reintroduced to Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) who is pregnant. She is pondering over the lessons she learned from her mother Donna (Streep), who’s probably dead. As Sophie tries to understand how her own mother faced motherhood, Donna’s friends Rosie (Julie Walters) and Tanya (Christine Baranski) share stories from Donna’s pregnancy. She learns what happened when her mom (played by Lily James in flashbacks) met the three men who could be Sophie’s father. Jeremy Irvine, Josh Dylan and Hugh Skinner are cast as the younger versions of Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgard and Colin Firth, respectively.
