Courteney Cox to Jennifer Aniston: Don't jump back in bed with Brad Pitt

Recently we read that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are considering giving their relationship another chance. News had it that Pitt and Aniston have been secretly meeting after George Clooney encouraged Pitt to reach out to her following her split from Justin Theroux.

However, there is apparently someone who is not too thrilled with this idea. It is none other than Aniston's BFF, Courteney Cox.

A leading daily reported a source as saying, "Courteney immediately reached out to Jennifer urging her to leave Brad in the past after hearing rumors that Jen may be rekindling things with her ex. Courteney was with Jen through it all with Brad and with Justin too. Through good times and the bad, Courteney has helped Jen through relationship issues over the years and she still feels very protective of her friend."

The source added, "Courteney's warning made it clear to Jen that friendly conversation with Brad may be, 'OK,' but she better not jump back in bed with him just because she is feeling weak or is going through a tough breakup!"

Meanwhile, Jennifer is moving on with her life and is doing fine after separating from her husband Justin Theroux. "Since her split from Justin, Jen is doing fine," a source told people.com. The two, who announced their separation in February, has "had some contact" after the breakup but "won't get back together", said the source.

Apparently, Jennifer is keeping herself busy socializing with friends and near ones.

Jennifer and Justin's separation was the result of Justin's flirty nature. A daily quoted a source as saying, "Justin is a classic ladies' man and flirt, and it always drove Jen up the wall. One of the worst moments for Jen was when she started seeing Justin flirt with her friends. Women are very drawn to Justin. All her celeb friends were charmed by him at one point or another... Jen would tell pals that she felt more alone being married to Justin than she did being single."
