Kim Kardashian and Kanye West who recently announced the healthy birth of their third and a surrogate child have finally announced the name of their baby girl. Kim K shared the name of her newborn via her app and website on Friday. The baby is named ‘Chicago West’.
While she announced the gender of the third born on Ellen DeGeneres’ show the reason behind the name of this newborn has not been revealed or explained as yet. Apparently, the new baby first felt the touch of her mother, Kim, as she was present in the delivery room.
In November, Kim threw a baby shower that was attended by her A-lister friends and family like Jenna Atkins, along with Kendall, Kylie, and the other Kardashian clan.The shower was set up in the theme Tea for Three Party decked up in cherry blossoms around the entire house. At the party Kim’s daughter - North was dressed up in a Chinese, kimono-style dress and fuzzy slippers, looking adorable as usual.

“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl,” Kim wrote in a post titled, “She’s Here!” She added, “We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.” The 37-year-old reality star announced the arrival of her baby who weighed in at 7 lbs 6 oz. on Tuesday. Their baby, Chicago, joins older siblings North and Saint.
For all those speculating Kylie Jenner being the surrogate mother now know that they stand untrue. All we have to do now is to wait and see until Kim and Kanye announce the reason behind naming Chicago as Chicago!
