'Never Have I Ever' actor Darren Barnet becomes Victoria’s Secret’s FIRST male ambassador for its ‘Gender-free’ collection!

After pulling off a 180 degree with their changed image, Victoria's Secret is all game about making things right. From replacing ‘angels’ as VS collectives to including plus size and down syndrome models in their campaigns, the brand is hitting all the right notes with its target audience. And now, VS has tapped the Never Have I Ever actor Darren Barnet as its first-ever male brand ambassador.

Confirming the same, Darren shared the news on his social media handle. “I can finally share the news! am honored to be joining @vspink as a brand ambassador!” read an excerpt of his caption.

The lingerie label stated that Darren would be the face of VS Pink’s latest ‘Gender-free’ collection featuring unisex shorts, sweats, and hoodies. Barnet is “such a positive role model for teens and young adults,” according to VS Pink’s CEO Amy Hauk. Apart from this, the actor will also be ‘supporting the brand’s initiatives’ by actively participating in the label’s key initiatives including ‘commitment to inclusivity, fostering positive mental health and empowering young adults,” as reported by Ad Week. He will also be judging VS’ ‘Pink With Purpose’ Project along with participating in activities for Mental Health Awareness Month in May.
