ELLEN DEGENERES LAUNCHES HER OWN SKINCARE RANGE

After entertaining people for decades, Ellen DeGeneres has turned her attention to the beauty biz and launched her own skincare brand alongside good friend and makeup maven Victoria Jackson. Called Kind Science, the beauty brand had been three years in the making with its focus on ‘age-positivity.’ As the name suggests, the products offered are “kind to animals, kind to skin, kind to the planet and kind to your wallet,” according to the brand statement. As of now, the skincare brand has introduced a range of seven products- a cleanser, micro-exfoliant, hydration cream, firming serum, neck treatment, eye cream, and radiance oil. Ellen also said that this skincare line is a result of her prolonged struggle of finding good skincare products. With no harmful chemicals and synthetic materials present in them, Kind Science products are said to support collagen growth without irritating the skin. I’ve tried pretty much everything out there and finally decided to launch my own line, not wanting to compromise the things that matter most to me — caring for yourself, animals and the planet, said Ellen as she unveiled her beauty line. The skincare brand is live now.

The iconic 100-year-old Vogue Paris is all set to drop the word ‘Paris’ and replace it with ‘France’ from November 4. Founded by Conde Nast in 1920, it has been the only magazine to have country’s capital in its title. The name change comes as a part of Conde Nast’s global consolidation plan. Under the publication’s new approach, British Vogue editor and European editorial director Edward Enninful will oversee Vogue France, with all directors reporting directly to global editorial director Anna Wintour.
