Rajkummar Rao speaks out on Pahalgam Terror attack, Says “If I get a chance, I’ll definitely visit...”

Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao is in the news these days for his upcoming film ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’. The film is going to be released in theaters soon and the actor is continuously participating in many programs in connection with its promotion. In this sequence, during a promotional event, Rajkummar Rao expressed deep sorrow over the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir and expressed his solidarity with the sentiments of the countrymen.

According to a Hindustan report, Rajkummar Rao said that the whole country is deeply hurt by this incident. He said, "Whatever happened in Pahalgam was very unfortunate. We are all very angry. Those scenes are not going out of my mind. I have seen many videos and pictures and there is a lot of pain in my heart. My deepest condolences are with the families who have lost their loved ones. We are with the sentiments of all the countrymen."

During the same conversation, Rajkumar Rao also said that he wants to visit Jammu and Kashmir. He said, "A lot of hard work has been done to make Kashmir safe and beautiful again. Tourism has also started again there. Many of my friends have recently gone there and they told me that the place is now very safe. If I get a chance, I would definitely like to go there."

In response to this attack, the Indian Army demolished nine terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) on Wednesday. This counter-action has been named 'Operation Sindoor', which was being awaited for a long time across the country.

Rajkummar Rao's film ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ is directed by Karan Sharma and it is going to be released in theaters on May 9. Wamiqa Gabbi and Seema Pahwa will also be seen in important roles in this film.
