Rubina Dilaik puts her Bigg Boss 14 winning gown on virtual sale in Pride Month to support transgender rights

Rubina Dilaik, who is playing the role of a transgender in Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, is actively working towards safeguarding the rights of the community. Donning the hat of a Transgender Rights activist, Rubina is putting in efforts to normalise the LGBTQ+ community. June is celebrated as Pride Month and Rubina is trying to make it even more special. Now, the actress has put her Bigg Boss 14 winning gown on virtual sale for Transgender Rights.

For the finale night, Rubina opted for an ivory-coloured gown that came with dramatic sleeves. She pulled her hair into a neat puffy ponytail and rounded off her look with highlighted cheeks, shimmer eyes, and nude lipstick. Apart from this, the fashionista has put some more outfits from her wardrobe on sale, including one costume that she wore in her music video, Marjaneya.

Talking about the initiative, Rubina said, "We have a long way to go towards making the transgender community feel more a part of mainstream society. So I'm always looking to find ways to draw attention to this issue and mobilise resources for them." In the past, Rubina has extended support to such fundraisers. She added, "Until we get to a point where we don't need a special month to commemorate the LGBTQIA+ community, our efforts will not stop!"

Rubina is in constant touch with the members of the transgender community. The actress got a warm welcome from them as she returned to Shakti after almost a year's gap.
