Ever since his acting debut with the 2016 blockbuster Dangal, there has been no stopping Aparshakti Khurana. Today, he is one of the most versatile and sought-after actors in showbiz. Apart from his acting prowess, the actor has also often been hailed for his impeccable sense of style. Be it in casual t-shirts, stylish jackets or elegant tuxedos, he has wowed fans and fashion connoisseurs time and again. Bold colours, experimental silhouettes and gender fluidity are an integral part of his sartorial sensibility.
Recently, Aparshakti hosted a Miss India 2020 contest in Mumbai. Known to have the gift of the gab, he won the hearts of many. Dressed in a classic blue velvet YSL suit, he made a sharp style statement at the beauty pageant and finished the look with a pair of blue Giuseppe Zanotti moccasins.
"Welllll!! I think blue is the new black. This look was really special as a big fat event was happening almost after a year. Kudos to my stylist Jay Samuel who made sure that it reaches India in time. He honestly worked really hard on this look," said Aparshakti.
And from what we have learnt, Aparshakti’s outfit had to travel across continents to finally reach him. The YSL Suit had to be picked up from London and dropped in Mumbai via four flights. Fashion, after all, is no easy game! The credit for styling the talented actor in the elegant tuxedo goes to Jay Samuel, his stylist. Based in London, Jay has been lauded for styling Aparshakti and for transforming his wardrobe, which spells subtle and experimental, into an object of admiration and envy.
