Trolled! Gucci’s 55k ‘inverted cat-eye sunglasses’ turns the internet UPSIDE DOWN

Looks like 2020 has been a rough year especially for Gucci since it has been delivering some out-of-the-box hefty products that NOBODY asked for! After leaving the internet confused with its 14k ripped stockings, the Italian luxury fashion house is back with another controversial product- inverted cat-eye sunglasses. Yes, you heard it right. No, we didn’t know it existed either!

Priced at $755 (that’s INR 55,600!) on their official website, these glasses were described as ‘An unconventional take on the '50s and '60s inspired cat-eye frames, these sunglasses are presented with an inverted design that created an 'upside down' effect.’ The frames and temples bore multiple layers of black and white acetate and the enamel floral details and a Gucci logo accentuated the look of the glasses furthermore.

But seems like Gucci wasn’t able to please the netizens with its inverted creation. Many confused Twitteratis called out the Italian fashion brand while others got the meme fest started!
