South sensation Vijay Deverakonda is a heartthrob of many fangirls out there, thanks to his impeccable looks and magnetic persona. Not only for his acting prowess, but Vijay is also known for his refined fashion taste. But, did you know the actor was refused to be dressed by well-known designers? VD’s stylist Shravya Varma reveals it all!
In a conversation with a leading online website, Shravya stated that she was refused by the designers to dress the actor saying, “We don’t source for Tamil and Telugu actors.”
Recalling the unpleasant encounter with a designer, she revealed, “One designer denied sourcing to Vijay because he didn't know the magnitude of Arjun Reddy back then. Now, the same person would approach me now saying, 'we want to source for him'." Speaking on the irony she stated, “The same designers who had earlier denied to source clothes to South celebs have opened stores now in Hyderabad."
With being denied designer outfits to opening up his clothing line Rowdy Wear, Vijay has come a long way. On the work front, he will be seen in Puri Jaganadh's Fighter opposite actress Ananya Panday.
