‘It’s been an honour & a privilege’, says editor Nonita Kalra as Harper’s Bazaar India pulls down its shutters for an indefinite period

While the world is prepping up to brace the ‘new normal’, Harper’s Bazaar India pulled down its shutters for an indefinite period. The glossy version of the magazine had already left the stands, and now the digital issues have been halted for an unspecified period due to the uncertainty amid the pandemic and it's economic repercussions.

Taking it to her social media space, Bazaar’s editor Nonita Kalra penned down heartwarming words for her team and reminisced her journey with Bazaar.

“For four years, I worked with the best in the business. What a time we had. From changing the way the magazine read, to changing the way we worked, what can I say Team Bazaar? It’s been an honour & a privilege to work with you.

With a heavy heart and utter disbelief, fashion consultant and creative director styling, Edward Lalrempuia bid the magazine goodbye. “And just like that, it’s over!! Didn’t quite expect it but everything happens for a reason so, on to my next chapter. Six and a half years is quite a good gig. Will miss Team @bazaarindia so very much.”

Other team members also poured their hearts out as they bid goodbye.

Well, what can we say, goodbye for now and very good luck, Bazaar!
