It’s been three months since ace designer Wendell Rodricks left for a heavenly abode leaving a void in the fashion world. The Padmashree Awardee, who was film and fashion fraternity’s favorite designer, breathed his last on February 12, 2020.
On his 60th birth anniversary today, on May 29, 2020, the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) remembered its fellow member with a heartwarming video.
Sharing glimpses of his never-seen-before picture weaved together in a video, FDCI paid a tribute to this fashion’s pioneer. Taking it to their social media space, FDCI captioned the post as, “Happy 60th Birth Anniversary Dear WENDELL from his TEAM, JEROME, all his friends and the FDCI family. #WendellForever”
Wendell was a member of FDCI and had dressed many celebrities like Anushka Sharma, Malaika Arora, Deepika Padukone amongst others. The designer passed away earlier this February at his family home in Colvale, Goa.
