Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton and others to hold a never-seen before fundraiser to support French healthcare professionals

After household fashion names doing their bit by donating for charity, they are now coming together for a bigger social fund-raiser and it's something that's never been done before!

Coming together for Protege Ton Soignant, a non-profit organization, labels like Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel and many more are all set to hold a one-off auction to raise funds for French healthcare services.

La Mode S’Engage and Just An Idea Founder Sarah Andelman has so far confirmed the participation of more than 80 brands, including Chanel, Celine, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Comme des Garçons, Imane Ayissi and Rabih Kayrouz. “The goal is to raise as much money as possible; We want to be a helping hand… to the work of the state," as said by Nicolas Santi-Weil, Chief Executive of La Mode S’Engage.

Rather than shilling old samples, each brand has actually been asked to customize an item from their archive or design a one-of-a-kind garment, using the electric blue of Protege Ton Soignant. Any designers without access to the necessary equipment or fabrics are allowed to submit sketches of their designs, rather than the garments themselves, offering access to made-to-order couture for this one-of-a-kind fundraiser.

Well, all for a cause; what are your thoughts?
