Altuzarra makes a debut in childrenswear in collaboration with online kid's boutique, Maisonette

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic scare, we're all discovering new hobbies and recreational activities to keep ourselves occupied.

Looks like, for designer Joseph Altuzarra, a debut into childrenswear in collaboration was his calling!

Altuzarra for Maisonette defines chic, luxury fashion for childrenswear as we've never seen before. A fresh perspective, a sartorial take on kids fashion and some insights from personal experience as a new dad, Joseph said to a leading website, "My husband and I welcomed our daughter four months ago, and quite simply, I became interested in childrenswear while we were preparing for her arrival." Cute, innit?

He further added, "Over the years, my friends have occasionally asked me to make their daughters' outfits that would coordinate with their Altuzarra pieces. I've always thought it was such a charming and sweet idea, and it makes the Altuzarra pieces feel that much more special. When I started thinking about partnering with another brand to realize this idea for a wider audience, Maisonette was the only brand I wanted to speak to."

Designing a mommy-and0me collection, the ensembles are offered in girl sizes 4Y to 12Y with matching designs for the mother. Chicness alert!
