With the ongoing outbreak of Coronavirus Pandemic, the fashion industry just like others has come to a standstill. Also, with the number of infected cases increasing day by day, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi set up PM’s relief fund for the citizens of India to provide monetary contributions that will aid the nation to fight this deadly virus.
Recently, designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee pledged his contributions for this good cause. Joining the bandwagon, Manish Malhotra also did his bit for the greater good.
Manish took it to his social media to announce his support in the ongoing battle against COVID-19. He said that he would be pledging an undisclosed sum of amount to both Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, Maharashtra (CMRF). “I support the government by pledging to the PM- Cares Fund and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra) for the help it requires in this time of the COVID-19 Pandemic.”, read his statement.
Manish further continued by saying that he is not only committed towards the safety of his work family but also the others who are in dire need. “I am not only committed towards the safety & well-being of my work family but all other in need.”
