Known for creating iconic costumes for ages, Bollywood’s one of the most sought-out designers Manish Malhotra is a no new name in the fashion fraternity. However, his refined taste is not limited to just clothes and costumes, and his plush abode stands testimony to this very fact.

First up, Manish gave us a peek of his home-office space or a study, made for the times like weekends, which also proved useful during the times of the pandemic. He further reveled that he also uses this space for fittings for actors, brides and bridegrooms. The designer also showed us the way to one of his few walk-in-closets designed by Gauri that acts a safe space for his well-tailored, clean-cut suits, textured shawls, bomber jackets and all things Louis Vuitton.

The living room, conceptualized by Manish is a work of art with some antique paintings and vintage aesthetics. He also shared a glimpse of his outdoor space where he hosts his famous lunches, attended by celebrity BFFs.

Apart from giving us a home tour, Manish made some other revelations as well. The ace designer has been working on a script and fine-tuning it at the moment. As mentioned in the video, we might hopefully see the finished product next year. Fingers crossed! When asked about the top three iconic Bollywood characters styled by him, Manish said he believes his top three films are Rangeela, Kabhi Khushi Khabhie Gham and Jab We Met. Speaking about Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Poo, the designer drew parallels of her character with that of today’s Emily in Paris. He also reminisced of the times when he sew straw hats and jungle outfits. When asked if he still gets unreasonable designing requests at 2 AM from celebs, he said ‘the industry is way more organized now.’
